Hear it from IZ himself…
GREAT IDEA, JON!
I’ve been selling Iz’s music for almost 20 years now! But, I still enjoy just hearing him talk a little! And, I learned something new—-that Moe Keale was his mother’s youngest brother.
I SAW IZ ON THE BIG ISLAND BACK IN THE 90’S WHAT A FANTISTIC
VOICE – ‘GOD’ MUST HAVE PROVIDED HIM WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL VOICE.
HE DIED TO YOUNG WHY??
HIS MUSIC WILL BE WHAT HAWAII IS ALL ABOUT!!
I WILL NEVER FORGET SEEING HIM AND HIS SINGING
HE IS A LEGEND FOR THE ISLANDS!!
There will never be another singer that can reach the soul like IZ unless one of his grandchildren follows his footsteps.
Being so far away from home , here in El Paso, TX my son always brought me home music he found that he knew I would like. He came on day with the DVD about IZ and I was cleaning house and always with music on . My kids knew I was cleaning really good with my good music on real loud. I started listening to “KAMALANI ” AND being a former singer, hula dancer, and entertainer in l960 forward, I know how to recognize the “kaona” in a song (hidden meaning).
I walked into my son’s room and I was Maka wai wai (crying) and hugged him thanking him for the beautiful DVD he had brought for me. To some it means one thing, but to me , it had another meaning , so beautiful, of when a precious child or family loved one dies, they have the hope of the RESURRECTION promised in John 5:28,29. You will hear His voice (Jesus’), and come out of the grave or tomb. I couldn’t stop crying knowing that IZ was already asleep in death. What a blessing, to be able to hear the voice of one so loved, thru modern techology.
We can hear his voice each, until we welcome him and his family & Moe Keale back to the true Paradise in all the earth and we will sing together again. His family had genetic problem passed down , obesity and heart problems. That is why so many died young. I was surprised that Moe Keale, his uncle, was revived and lived awhile after a major heart attack. Too many lost so young, his parents , his sister Lydia, Uncle Moe & others had imperction and could not avoid being obese young. In Jehovah’s New World, no more sickness, death or crying from losing others to our enemy death. (REV 21:3,4
Kaleolani ALOHA NUI LOA
P.S. To correct misspell. They had Imperfection with all their inherited genes passed down.

I never had the priviledge to see IZ but every time I hear him sing I can close my eyes and see him. His voice transends time and space. Mahalo for this site.
Braddah IZ is, was and fo’eva will be – fo’ he iz music… the smile that could heal the world.
IZ is a legend and his music has soul in way that no one has ever reached.
too bad we lost him early,…
As long as there’s some form of music, be it CDs, tapes or digital, we really haven’t lost “IZ” . “IZ Forever and ever.”
